Training: One-on-one personal training
means you get our undivided attention while you learn proper exercise
form. We develop a plan that changes as you progress, in order to
meet your individual goals. Training can be a long or short-term
relationship, depending on your needs and preferences.
Weight loss packages:
Personal training combined with
dietary consultation is the best way to meet your weight-loss
goals. Private instruction on fitness, evaluation and recommendations
for diet and optional in-home sessions for fitness and healthy
cooking classes are all available.
Power Walking
Groups: 6 week sessions will be
led by Janine and will be on-going. Injury prevention, shoes,
checking heart rate and various other topics will be covered along
with each walk. Anyone, current client or not, can sign up at
any time to join a walking group for a nominal fee.
Pilates:
A certified instructor will lead you through private,
one-on-one sessions or in a group setting. Groups will form every
few months and will be held at local meeting places.
Your First
Marathon: Taking on the seemingly
insurmountable challenge of a marathon can be difficult if you
do it alone. Consider working with the marathon group, in which
you will be guided through a slow progression to your ultimate
goal. This is for first-timers only and will be held periodically
for 16 week sessions.
Beginners
Running Group for Women: Learning
how to begin a running program is much more pleasant in the company
of other beginners. Enjoy the support of other women as you learn
proper running form and work through a slow transition from walking
to running. Classes are 6 weeks long and begin in summer and fall.
Over 50 Training:
Whether you are a new comer to fitness or are just
returning to an active lifestyle, we can help you improve your
overall fitness level. Develop healthy habits that will keep you
active for years to come and help you to maintain an independent
lifestyle. One-on-one or group sessions are available on request.
Dietary Consultations:
Developing healthy eating habits is a vital part of your fitness
program. You can meet with Heather, our Registered Dietitian,
in a number of locations. If you prefer one consultation or on-going
support, this is a wonderful addition to your health plan.
